Now that we are a decent way through this spring semester its a good time to reflect on one example of speaking italian. This assignment was to reflect on looking for places to stay in italy. This assignment was something I was nervous about doing due to the length of talking. Initially for most speaking assignments I would try to write out a outline of what i wanted to say and usually I would make some type of script. But this time i decided to just speak italian with nothing to follow and just work on speaking skills. This caused for me to go way over the time limit which I think was a good thing as it made me realize i can speak italian for much longer then expected with no issues. But this assignment also made me realize the importance of just speaking of the top of your head, as this is good practice for the oral exam but most importantly just become a better italian speaker.
